Guys it’s the 5th of March, how crazy is that! What even was February? I’m using this post to wrap up everything that happened in February and to answer where I’ve been!
Blog Wrap Up
I have sadly neglected my blog this month due to all the busyness in the life catch up and being off sick from work due to anxiety. I posted once a week and was poor at managing my time. I’m gutted I didn’t get to blog hop pretty much at all this month, I love reading your blogs! Hopefully March will be better.
Book Wrap up
It was actually an OK month for reading, did I write a single review? Hahahahaaha Nope. But did I find books that I fell in love with? You’re damn right! I found an indie author and binged her series in 4 days, bless Kindle Unlimited. This was the month of the Victorian!:
Curiouser and Curiouser – Melanie Karsak *****

This series! Just this series! It is a steampunk retelling of fairytales and I loved every single one of them. I read it in the span of 4 days and was fully absorbed into the world. It’s safe to say I have my new indie spotlight planned out now!
The Way of All Flesh – Ambrose Parry ***

This was so interesting! It’s about a doctor and a housemaid investigating why women were being murdered all around Edinburgh. It’s a slow burn but I loved it.
N0S4R2 – Joe Hill ****

N0S4R2 is a book that I just didn’t know what I was getting into. I feel I’m the only one that didn’t understand the title. But this book was amazing, it is worth every page of the giant tome that you read. It’s my first Joe Hill but it definitely won’t be my last!
Jackaby – William Ritter ****

Aww man, aww man. I read this when my Victorian obsession was in full swing and it was amazing. I love Jackaby, I feel he would be annoying as heck in real life but in the book world he is glorious! I can’t wait to read the sequel.
Life catch up

February was a hectic month full of new course and moving house. I started Roller Derby on Sundays and I am loving it! Is it sore. . . YES! Is it terrifying. . . YES! But is it amazingly fun. . . . HECK YES!
I also started a computing course to learn how to program so all the space has been full up of practising and attending class. This as well as working and doing all the overtime has taken all my blog time away!
I’ve been in the process of moving house the last couple weeks so any spare moment has been spent packing and unpacking my things! The things we have to do to be an adult!
How was your February? Did life get in the way of all the books?
Looks like your February was as busy as mine! I didn’t get to read much at all and didn’t get many reviews done either. Here’s to more productivity in March!

Awe, I’m sorry your February was rough with anxiety.
I have it too and I know my mental health hasn’t been the best either so I need to work on it. I hope you have a better March! π

awww I’m sorry to hear your February was so overwhelming, but it sounds like you prioritized taking care of yourself and that’s good π I’m also so glad to hear that you got to enjoy so many awesome books (though reviewing is definitely a struggle … I’m behind on those too π ) I’m always so excited to see someone else who’s read and loved Jackaby (the series gets better and better, though I did think the last book was a bit much π); Roller Derby sounds like lots of fun, and moving house is exciting!
I had kind of a slow but also super-packed February with three exams in the same week, and then another a week or so later – so not much reading or reviewing happened for me either. hoping March will be better, since it includes a week of spring break!
