Magical Readathon TBR

Your girl has spent the last four days in a complete Christmas haze; visiting family, caroling, going shopping and baking cookies. This may make me seem like a very festive person but in fact I am a complete Grinch!

I’m completely exhausted by the holidays and need some me time. I’m looking forward to finishing my last week of work and curling up with books, forgetting the world.

The Magical Readathon run by Book Roast is the perfect solution as I can get lost in magical worlds. It takes place from 17th-26th of December. From Finishing my Coursework to Attending the Christmas Feast, its going to be a fun adventure!

What I love about the Magical Readathon is that you can choose your own path through to the Christmas feast so you have a lot of choice with your TBR!

Finish your coursework – Finish Your Current Read

I’m currently reading Goth Girl and the Wuthering Fright, this series is just hilarious and I am in love with the illustrations.

Have a Snowball Fight With The Weasley Twins – Funny Read

Jack of Hearts seems like it will be hilarious, marketed as Riverdale meets Love Simon I am hoping for big things from it. The reviews all say Jack is hilariously honest and I am ready for more LGBT+ books!

Visit 3 Broomsticks for mulled pixie wine – Book you can finish in a day

I love How the Grinch Stole Christmas, its my favourite Christmas book and I read it multiple times each year. This will be the third time I have read it this year and I have zero regrets!

Attend a Yule Ball – Book You’ve Been Preparing Yourself For

I have been waiting for Bloodwitch for so long! I magically got an ARC for this and I’m excited to dive back into the world again. I’ll definitely need to recap myself on what happened in Windwitch first though!

Bring a Festive Treat to Hedwig at the Owlery – Book with Animal

Wolf-Speaker is the second book in the Immortals Quartet by Tamora Pierce and the idea of being able to talk to animals is a dream! I loved Daine in Wild Magic and can’t wait to see more of her journey!

Attend the Christmas Feast – Watch a Harry Potter Film

My friend always goes on at me as I haven’t watched all the Harry Potter movies. . . please don’t kill me. I still have to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows Part 1 so I may try to finish them at the end of the readathon.

That is it for my very very ambitious TBR for the Magical Readathon, I’m working a lot this week so I’ll be happy if I get to three books!

Are you taking part in the Magical Readathon? What books are you reading?
