December is gloriously full of readathons, perfect to finish your TBR goals or simply to get into the festive spirit.
The first readathon I’m going to be taking part in is ‘Tis the Seasonathon’ it is the perfect readathon to get into the holiday spirit. There will be plenty of sprints on the twitter page Tistheseason. It runs from 3rd-9th December and is run by:
- Crowns and Quills
- Super Space Chick
- Btwchapters
- Chelsea Dollin
I will try to participate in the 5 challenges but will see how the week goes with work, my goal is to read at least two of the books for it!
- Short Book Under 250 Pages

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is the perfect holiday read, I’ve already read it once this weekends and will definitely be reading it just a few more times during the festive season. Perfect for people who are festive scrooges.
2. Book With Red on the Cover

The Red Ribbon is a historical fiction set in a dressmakers in Auschwitz. Although it is not a typical holiday read I’ve started it and completely fell in love with the characters and there support for one another in a horrible time.
3.Holiday Themed Book

A Boy Called Christmas will be the perfect sweet book to read after the Red Ribbon. It’s about Father Christmas when he is a child and I feel that Winter is the perfect time to curl up with a middle grade book.
4. Read A Warm And Fuzzy Book

Continuing on my middle grade Matt Haig Train, I’m hoping to get to The Girl Who Saved Christmas which has the same sweet illustration style. It is also set in Victorian London, I love books set in Victorian times!
5. Read a Book While Listening to Holiday Music

Giant Days is one of my favourite graphic novel series and I’ve a couple volumes to catch up on. Its definitely the perfect time to it up while finding some festive pop punk to listen to.
Are you taking part in Tistheseasonathon? What books are you reading?
Omg this tbr gives me all the feels. My TBR was so backed up of stuff I have to get read that I couldn’t do a list like this and it makes me a bit sad lol This is perfect.
